www.tonesreview.com (this Website) is a collection of opinions and comments, from persons around the globe. Contributors are solely responsible for the content of opinions, reviews and comments that they post here.

As a website discussing politics, news, and policy, opinions, critique and comments are welcomed and encouraged. Critique can be defined as a detailed analysis and assessment of something, especially a literary, philosophical, or political theory. However, there are instances where opinions, criticisms and comments, when raised to administrator attention, be edited or deleted as follows:

  • Opinions, criticisms and comments deemed to be spam or solely promotional in nature will be deleted. Including a link to relevant content is permitted, but comments should be relevant to the post topic.
  • Opinions, criticisms and comments including profanity will be deleted.
  • Opinions, criticisms and comments containing language or concepts that could be deemed offensive will be deleted. Note this may include abusive, threatening, pornographic, offensive, misleading or libelous language
  • Opinions, criticisms and comments that attack an individual directly will be deleted. This includes phrases that we determine are abusive, defamatory, derogatory, threatening, inflammatory, trolling, rude or culturally insensitive.
  • Opinions, criticisms and comments that discriminate or attack based on gender, race, religion, age, sexual orientation, physical attributes and similar may be deleted. We also ask that references to minors be made with due care.
  • Opinions, criticisms and comments that harass other posters will be deleted. Please be respectful toward other contributors. We require all contributors to limit opinions, criticism and comments to thoughtful discussion on relevant matter. Note that critique can and often is robust in nature.
  • Kindly respect copyright law, and note that we will delete comments that endorse piracy.
  • Anonymous opinions, criticisms and comments will be deleted. We only accept written comment from contributors who identify themselves. Inappropriate avatars, IDs, or impersonation may prevent publication. Please use one identity per IP address.

As detailed above, We (Tony Hooper, Melbourne Production Pty Ltd, and the Tones Review team) reserve the right to decline or edit any comment on this website. We further reserve the right to edit or delete any comments submitted to the blog without notice. As an Australian based company, we are subject to the laws of Victoria, Australia, and thus will where required, exercise our discretion when it comes to adhering to these laws.

No obscenity, html codes, external links or SHOUTING, please. Do not include personal emails or phone numbers. No self-promotion of websites or blogs. Repeat “fanboy” comments may be subject to moderation. Avoid sports code bashing.

Comments considered which simply reiterate points already made or off topic may not be published. Please make initial arguments in a single-reply.
