Fostering Innovation and Growth Mindsets: Refreshed Tailor-Made FIA University Region IV Programme starts in Argentina

Yesterday, the FIA University Region IV Programme started in Buenos Aires, Argentina. Twenty-six participants from nine FIA Member Clubs from South and Central America will have the chance to discover a new three-day curriculum developed with the Business School of the Torcuato Di Tella University.

The tailor-made programme, entirely delivered in Spanish to better meet the needs of FIA Region IV Members, will be organised around three thematic modules featuring a variety of presentations, learning lab sessions, discussions and case analysis — all designed to favour interactivity and hands-on learning for all the participants.

The first module will look at the global situation and the main economic trends worldwide and in South and Central America. It will explore the challenges participants face and the opportunities offered by Artificial Intelligence, with a special focus on how FIA Member Clubs can leverage AI in a business context.

Innovation will then take centre stage as the second module delves into the power of creative empathy and sheds light on how to improve customer service by placing emotional intelligence at the heart of innovation.

Eventually, the last module will aim to trigger participants’ growth mindset — teaching them how to embrace challenges, learn from setbacks and feel secure enough to experiment with new approaches to leadership. This growth mindset fosters creativity and innovation and is key to empowering the Clubs to constantly adapt and meet the expectations of their members.

For the first time this year, the programme will be delivered by experts and faculty from the Business School of the Torcuato Di Tella University.

FIA Region IV President Ricardo Morales Rubio declared, “The FIA Region IV Programme comes with an enhanced format this year and will provide our Members with even more valuable learnings. I look forward to seeing how it will give them the tools to lead their organisations with empathy and innovation.”
