FIA Innovation Challenge 2024 Finalists announced

The judging panel gathered on 9th July to agree on the FIA Innovation Challenge 2024’s shortlist

The FIA Innovation Challenge 2024 judging panel have announced the twelve finalists, with three projects per Mobility Region selected, for its inaugural competition.

The judging panel, composed of FIA Deputy President for Mobility, the four Regional Presidents, the two Mobility Commission Chairs, and the FIA Secretary General for Mobility, carefully reviewed the 44 submissions. After discussion, they agreed upon the shortlist, featuring projects which best showcased innovative mobility business and marketing endeavours.

FIA Deputy President for Mobility, Tim Shearman, who chaired the panel, said: “We have been truly impressed by the quality and creativity of this year’s submissions. With 44 strong entries to choose between, the judging panel have faced some interesting but difficult decisions. We are delighted to name our finalists and look forward to celebrating the winners in Rwanda this December.”

Finalists from Regions III and IV will have the opportunity to pitch their projects during the FIA American Congress in August, and those from Region II during the FIA Region II Roundtable in September.

The Winners will be announced in October and awarded during the FIA Annual General Assemblies week in Kigali, Rwanda, in December.
