Antigua Pro Racing: Driving the Future of Motorsport in Antigua & Barbuda

FIA Member Club Antigua Pro Racing continues to drive the growth of motorsport in Antigua & Barbuda. Through dedicated education, financial support, and logistical assistance, the Sporting Authority is committed to developing the local racing scene and establishing the island as a premier hub for motorsport excellence, all while ensuring adherence to safety and compliance standards.

Recently, Antigua Pro Racing participated in the 2024 Bimma Cup in Barbados, where Stewart Gordon and Leo Moody-Stuart secured podium finishes in both Rally Sprint and Rally Cross events, highlighting the Club’scompetitive edge in the Caribbean motorsport landscape. 

Internationally, Antigua Pro Racing has a strong presence at the Rally Legend event in San Marino, with Carlo Falcone and Amy Richard consistently representing Antigua & Barbuda. In 2021, WRC official Ford driver Adrien Fourmaux competed with Antigua Pro Racing, showcasing the Club’s ability to attract top-tier talent.

The Club remains committed to nurturing local talent and providing opportunities for enthusiasts and competitors to thrive in the world of racing. Valuing inclusivity, community engagement, and grassroots talent cultivation, Antigua Pro Racing focuses on giving the next generation of racers the chance to learn and grow.

The Club operates with a strategic organisational structure, comprising a central board of directors and specialised boards for different motorsport branches. This ensures focused efforts and attention to the unique needs of each racing discipline.

Looking ahead, the Club is collaborating with the government of Antigua & Barbuda to build a new racing track at Reservoir Range. This initiative aims to enhance safety and regulatory standards, marking a new era of motorsport excellence on the island.

The new track will host the “Champion of Champions” event, featuring winners from past Antigua Legend Cups and Rally Legend competitions. Beyond motorsport, Reservoir Range will continue to be a versatile venue for various activities, including motocross.
