WEC: Lynn fastest for Cadillac in final practice ahead of Bahrain’s season finale

The No.2 Cadillac Racing V-Series.R Hypercar topped the final 60-minute of Free Practice session held ahead the 2023 FIA World Endurance Championship season finale, the 8 Hour of Bahrain

Alex Lynn continues the strong run for the American manufacturer as he set the best lap of 1m49.512s to lead the field.

Lynn’s time was 0.4s quicker than second-placed No.50 Ferrari AF Corse with Antonio Fuoco in the cockpit of the Ferrari 499P.

The #99 Proton Competition entry was the highest placed Porsche 963 Hypercar with Gianmaria Bruni setting the best lap for the car with a 1m50.256s lap.

Any Early time set by Tom Blomqvist allowed the #23 United Autosports entry to head the times in the LMP2 class, while in LMGTE Am the Project 1 AO Racing Porsche fought back after the FP2 accident to post the fastest time in class in the final hour of the final practice session held ahead of the all-important qualifying.
