New TCR driver reveals livery for Phillip Island debut

Lachlan Mineeff has revealed the look of his Volkswagen Golf GTI ahead of his debut in the Supercheap Auto TCR Australia Series at Phillip Island this weekend.

The 18-year-old will compete at the Shannons Motorsport Australia Championships event with a distinctive white, red and blue look, featuring major support from Truck Dealers Australia, AutoInstruct and VAGParts Australia.

Also joining Mineeff’s touring car debut will be support from National Truck Wholesalers, Southern Star Truck Centre, Solo-Werks and Austral Industries.

Despite having never driven the car, Mineeff is excited fr Phillip Island and grateful for the support of the partners who have made his dream possible.

“I’m super excited to be able to announce a new group of partners onto our campaign for the Phillip Island TCR Australia round,” he said.

“Without having even hit the circuit, all of the sponsors have said that TCR is a great platform to work with, and we are super excited to welcome them all onboard.”

Held as part of the Shannons Motorsport Australia Championships, two TCR sessions will be run on Friday, followed by qualifying and Race 1 on Saturday and two more races on Sunday.

All of Saturday and Sunday’s action will be broadcast live and free on the screens of Seven in Australia, Sky Sports in New Zealand and motorsport.tv around the world.
